- No Man’s Land sets the standard for maps. It’s a huge open area that allows the player to essentially choose their own adventure. Having built my own farm on this one, I can personally attest to how good it is. I really appreciate that each section of the map is only $85,000, allowing you to purchase basic equipment and piece of land to get started. It’s an incredibly fun map for the “start from scratch” style to create your own Farm Sim world.
2) Sandy Bay – Fans of popular Farm Sim YouTubers are familiar with this UK-based map. It has a wonderfully hilly topography that makes it more unique than a lot of the flat maps on the game. The amount of detail on the map is sure to keep people coming back for multiple plays. There are several smaller farms around the map, allowing for different ways to play. If you are looking for an immersive UK map with some beautiful views, check out Sandy Bay.

3) Valley of the Old Farm – If you are looking to use older and/or smaller equipment there’s a lot to like about Valley of the Old Farm. It’s got incredible details and an immersive smaller field style to it. If you’re looking to roll out massive 500 HP equipment this is not the map for you. However, if you enjoy the smaller tractors and 3m equipment, definitely check out the charming and classic Valley of the Old Farm.
4) Oakfield Farm – This is a wonderfully balanced map with natural terrain. Instead of some maps that feel like “modded maps,” this one actually feels quite native to the game. There’s an immersion to the design of the buildings and farms using truly remarkable textures. It’s the kind of map that makes you feel like you’re driving the tractor, not playing a game about driving the tractor. There are a lot of different areas to set up farms and make your own way as an up and coming farmer.

5) Geiselsberg – When I first fired up this map, I was not sure if I would like it. For one thing, it’s HUGE! If you start in the starting place you’ll spend the first hour of playing just ferrying equipment down there from the store. That said, once I got settled into the map I loved the textures and the depth of the map. You can do logging, arable, or livestock with equal ease. It’s a fun style that will have you losing track of time taking loads of silage to the BGA without even thinking.
