This fantastic pack has some wonderful textures. Here’s what each one looks like (so you can choose the “look” before you start your next playthrough). All credit for the mod and work goes to Red Ketchup. This is just a ready reference for anyone who wants to see each one before starting a new settlement.

*NOTE: For consistency, I chose the same “plain” for each of these. The concern here is the texture. Note that the topography of the map will change based on what you choose, as well as the map seed.

Peaks

-A grayish brown hue with plenty of pine and deciduous trees. A bit of a “bare” look compared to others.

Pinewood

-As the name indicates, plenty of pine trees dominate this forest. The ground appears more green than some of the other textures.

Fresh Spring

-The base is a light green color. The trees are a mix of pine and deciduous. A lighter feeling than other textures.

Lush Green

-As the name suggests, it’s a lush green. A bit lighter or dulled compared to some others, but still gives a warm hue to the map.

Entangled

-A darker green mixed with brown makes the basis of this appearance. A very rooted style.

Misty

-This is one of the most unique textures in the mod. The brown bits on the ground are a bit more vibrant, making it look like the ground is covered with pine nettles. Definitely much more forested.

Equinox

-The appearance of this texture is pink and sometimes red. The red mixed with the green makes for one of the most strikingly unique styles within the mod pack.

Sunny Autumn

-This has a vibrant red base, making it feel indeed quite “autumnal.” If you are looking for a style and color that is more adventurous, this one works well.

Enchanted

-Some of the brightest greens available, enchanted feels like it has the brightness turned up. There are many brightly colored trees to compliment the brighter mossy green base.

Woodland Meadow

-Woodland Meadow has a muted green base with stark dark green pine trees. The contrast between the two makes for a unique coloration and direction for the playthrough.

Effloresence

-The basis for effloresence is an understated green, showing lighter grasses with some light browns mixed in. The coloration creates a calm style perfect for a pastoral settlement.
